ABOUT ME

Pilates is the love of my life.

My goal is to share the joy of Joseph Pilates' exercises with people of all ages and abilities.  Pilates will help you feel better and move better no matter your fitness level.

I offer one to one and small group tuition in your home or in mine, as well as local classes in a variety of venues.

Dance and movement are a great passion of mine.  My background includes Ballet, Aerobics, Scottish Highland, Irish and Bollywood dance.  Along the way, I discovered Pilates and became a life-long student of the Method.


I’ve been helping clients change the way they look and feel with Pilates since 2018 and Dance-Fitness since 1993.


My special interests include exercise for those with osteoporosis, for strengthening the pelvic floor, and for those in their 50s and upwards.  I also love challenging athletes to use Pilates to help with their strength and flexibility.  All of my sessions include work to improve balance and to create flowing movements.  The more we move with balance and flow, the better we feel in daily life.


Joseph Pilates devoted his life to creating a method of movement for lifelong mental and physical well-being, calling his method "Contrology."  We call it Pilates.  For me, Pilates is the embodiment Albert Einstein's belief that: "Nothing happens until something moves."
